Todd and Kim Lapato – Austria

At three times the size of Pennsylvania, this country has the largest economy and is the second most populous nation in Europe. During WWII, Neutraubling was a factory and airport, nothing more. It produced parts for German warplanes. After the war, it became a place where displaced people were settled. That makes it one of the newest, if not the newest, cities in Bavaria and Germany. There are a lot of people here from Eastern Europe, including many Russians. The largest bottling company in the world is here where they even produce the bottles for Coca-Cola! BMW has a massive plant here also. In 2018, a group from our church went to help the Lapatos and their missionary friends, the Radanks, host a community outreach project. Since July 2019, the Lapatos have started a new ministry in Schongau.
